Using desktop self-service tools to explore clinical data offers investigators certain benefits, including the ability to search in real time and to change search variables “on the fly” in response to results. CCTS offers investigators two powerful self-service tools: i2b2 and the ACT Network.
Self-service tools also help research teams generate hypotheses, determine recruitment feasibility, develop funding proposals, find new collaborators, and refine study design and clinical trial protocols.
Request i2b2 access
Find an i2b2 training (hands-on classroom or video-based)
Request access to the ACT Network
Self-service users face certain limitations, including the inability to access clinical data containing Protected Health Information (PHI). To learn more about the various levels of data CCTS offers, and which require data analyst support to access, see our Data Access page.
