The system provides critical reporting and analytical capabilities that delivers a real-time snapshot of study activity at the institution.  OnCore includes a comprehensive suite of research modules that integrate components of research protocol activity.

What does OnCore do?

When protocol, subject, financial, and billing data is entered into the system by the study team, there are downstream effects for a variety of units and systems.

OnCore information aligns with the UAB Health System (UABHS) electronic health record and billing systems to enhance patient safety, improve research billing compliance, and provide important financial information to study teams and the institution.

How do I get access to OnCore?

• Complete initial OnCore Training.
  • Submit the Training Registration Form to request initial training.
  • Additional training for certain user roles may be required.

• Complete the OnCore ID Request Form (use your uab.edu email/blazerid to access) with your supervisor’s signature.

Is OnCore required for my study?

Does your study not require study team management in OnCore, but you still need CRSP, SPAN or Biospecimen Management services from the CCTS?  Complete the CBR-OCS-CCTS Submission Form to request CCTS clinical services.

How do I get my study in OnCore?

Complete the CBR-CCTS-OCS Submission Form to request study entry in OnCore. 

First time using the form?

• Use the checklistto help gather required information (enter your uab.edu email/blazerid to access)

Do you need pricing/coding from CBR for feasibility (not ready to begin the startup process)?

• Complete the CBR Feasibility Request Then complete the Submission Form when you are ready to move forward
