Communications Specialist
Lanzi received Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degrees from Auburn University in May 2020. While at Auburn, Lanzi served as an editor for the award-winning, student-run newspaper The Auburn Plainsman, where he honed his skills in news reporting and giving voice to the voiceless. He also served in leadership roles for other student organizations, while maintaining standing with the Honors College and graduating as a University Honors Scholar.
Lanzi serves as the Communications Specialist for the SHP Research Collaborative, focusing efforts on the Center for Engagement in Disability Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. In his role, Lanzi produces written content on inclusion science research and stories from the disability community, which he disseminates through a monthly newsletter. Lanzi also aids in the communication efforts for the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability. He is working to bridge the gap between the disabled and nondisabled worlds through communication on research and programming.
