MyLab is a 20-30 minute weekend program for families. In MyLab, you will explore themes from the day-long GENEius programs. These labs will allow you to use modern science technology to expand your knowledge of the scientific world and how it directly relates to your life and our planet. These hands-on laboratory experiences are led by UAB CORD staff. MyLab is free of charge with admission to the McWane Science Center and is open to families with children of all ages.

My Brainy Lab
You're a true neuro-scientist so let's explore the space between your ears! During this lab we will dissect a sheep brain and compare it to a human's brain. You can discover how the brain takes in information and allows you to walk and run. You will also learn how the brain helps you see, hear, smell, and taste. This program is designed for middle school-aged students and their families.
