How to Accept Your UAB Scholarship
If you are selected to receive a scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, you will be notified through postal mail or your UAB email account. All scholarship offers must be accepted in the Blazer Scholarship Management and Resource Tool (BSMART). Your scholarship offer information will be listed in the “My Awards” tab in BSMART.
Applying for Additional Scholarships
Students can complete the BSMART Scholarship Application for consideration for scholarships offered by various departments and organizations across UAB’s campus. The application for the 2025-2026 academic year opens August 1, 2024. The application submission deadline is March 1, 2025.
You can reference the “Scholarship Directory” located on the BSMART login page to view scholarship opportunities.
Merit Scholarships
Information for merit scholarships is now available. Qualified freshman and transfer applicants will be awarded scholarships upon admission starting in October 2024. More information on merit scholarships can be found here.
