The proposed study involves the conduct of five randomized trials assessing the effectiveness of implementing non-drug approaches to prevent the development of hypertension. The five studies are being conducted in different populations and involve the identification of community dwelling adults at high risk for the development of hypertension. UAB will lead the statistical and data management core.
