Do not move a seriously injured person unless there is a life-threating situation.

Render first aid or CPR only if you have been trained.

Do not leave the victim except to call for help.

Call 911 from a UAB landline or 205-934-3535 from your cell phone. Calmly answer questions as best you can.

Have someone wait for EMS outside the building and lead them to the victim.

Comfort the victim until EMS arrives.
