This program has already been an advantage to me and has given me new and helpful insights into several of my current work projects. The ability to complete the program online and work at my own pace (within reason) is the only reason I'm able to juggle my job and the ASEM program.
The live classrooms are great, and it's nice to have a time each week to ask questions and actually meet all together and talk with one another. The discussion boards and blogs go above and beyond their intended purpose and allow us to really learn from each other. I am privileged to be able to learn so much from such an educated and talented bunch of people.
I would recommend this program to all experienced professionals who would like to broaden their working knowledge and learn better management and systems involved in workplace safety. I think it's an awesome approach to combining both engineering and safety philosophies. I am truly honored to be a part of the ASEM program at UAB!!!
