The Master of Engineering with a Concentration in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management

Hoehn Engineering BuildingThe Master of Engineering (MEng) with a concentration in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management (ASEM) is offered through the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The degree is designed for working, full-time professionals and is 100% online. Courses have synchronous and asynchronous components, but there are no on-campus requirements.

The Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management is recognized as a Qualified Academic Program (QAP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), meeting the qualified credential requirement for the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is accredited by a regional accrediting body, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
