The ASEM program provides an excellent learning environment for working professionals. The course work not only expands our knowledge of safety engineering and management principles, but it does so through use of real-world current events, causing us to understand the underlying engineering issues responsible for major and minor modern-day safety incidents.

The peer-to-peer learning environment is very informative due to the broad range of professional backgrounds represented in the class. This allows me to glimpse issues facing professionals in work environments that I would not normally have access to. The weekly live classroom meetings are an excellent forum for A-list speakers, and they also serve to put a face with the words written on the discussion boards by my classmates. It's a great package!!
