Undergraduate engineering students Jason Zhang and Annisha Borah are among the four UAB Honors College students chosen to be University Innovation Fellows, a prestigious program that seeks to empower students to be agents of change for their respective schools.
University Innovation Fellows is a global program run by Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. Fellows are expected to increase campus engagement with innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, and design thinking.
Zhang is a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering, and Borah is a sophomore majoring in civil engineering.
The students from UAB will have the opportunity to attend the Eastern Hemisphere meetup, which will be held in Dubai April 25-28.
