She was recently awarded a pre-doctoral fellowship from the AHA for her research topic, “Tissue Engineered Disease Vessel for Stent Evaluation.” In September 2017, she joined the lab of Ho-Wook Jun, Ph.D., Professor, Biomedical Engineering, and started her Ph.D. program.

Currently her research interest lies in the field of applying novel biomaterials to design and generate innovative tissue engineering structures and medical devices for improving cardiovascular disease therapy.
