Beginning Monday, March 26th, 5th Avenue South between 19th and 20th Streets South will experience changes to traffic flow. This will also affect the flow of exiting traffic from the 6th Avenue South Parking Deck.

The construction is expected to progress in several phases during the course of approximately five months. As the project progresses, the impact to traffic flow will change. At least one west-bound lane of traffic will be open on 5th Avenue South during the entire project. The entry to the 5th Avenue South parking deck will remain open at all times. 19th Street South will see minimal impact toward the end of the project.

This closure is part of an ongoing project to expand the District Steam and Chilled Water System to the Medical District. Updates on this project will follow as more information is available.
