UAB understands the importance of a positive onboarding experience for new faculty hires. An electronic onboarding system provides consistent communication and engagement which allows new faculty hires to begin the onboarding process prior to their first day on campus.

Through a personalized portal, the UAB Faculty Onboard System will help new faculty members manage onboarding tasks and activities in an online and automated environment. UAB Faculty Onboard will also facilitate the new hire’s connection to various functional areas, such as Payroll Services, Scholars@UAB, BlazerID Central, and research-related units.
