The GSGA Staff Awards and Professional Development Committee proudly launched the inaugural GSGA Staff Awards in May 2024!
This is a collaborative effort involves various units within the Graduate School and Global Affairs.
The goal of this award is to recognize our deserving staff for their contributions and impacts to our UAB community.
Each year, two staff members from the Graduate School and two from Global Affairs will be selected to receive this honor. The recipients of the GSGA Staff Awards will also be nominated for the UAB VIP Awards.
GSGA Staff Awards nominees will be evaluated based on UAB's Shared Values:
- Collaborate: Work as a team for the greater good.
- Act with Integrity: Be accountable and do the right thing.
- Respect All: Champion diversity and opportunities for all with civility.
- Excel: Innovate and strive for excellence.
Please use this link to submit your nomination(s) for the GSGA Staff Awards. There is no limit on how many individuals you can nominate. However, self-nominations are not accepted.
