UAB’s Electronic Leave Accrual System (eLAS), which is used to manage benefit time accruals and requests for monthly paid employees, will be replaced by the new Campus Time & Attendance system early next year.

All monthly paid benefit eligible campus employees and Heersink School of Medicine employees are scheduled to transition to Campus Time & Attendance in February 2025. UAB Hospital and LLC monthly paid employees (69 & 70 orgs) will continue to use eLAS at this time.

Training for the new system will be made available prior to the transition.

Employees who currently use eLAS must certify their balances for 2024 during the annual certification process, before they are transferred into Campus Time & Attendance. This process allows users to confirm their personal holiday, vacation and sick day balances are correct as of the time of certification. The certification period is going on now and will remain open until January 15, 2025.
