HR Specialist 
Courtney Miller is the HR Specialist for Learning & Development Department at UAB. She began her career at UAB as a temporary employee in November 2022. Courtney is responsible for facilitating training courses, developing strategies that manage day-to-day administrative tasks and supporting leadership.
Before joining UAB, she worked for P&S Transportation as a Processor/Recruiting Assistant, auditing truck drivers for proper licensure. Courtney graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a B.A. in Business Management.
Courtney’s continuing education goal is to pursue a Master of Business Administration as well as an SHRM-CP certification. She aims to assist UAB staff by developing skills to help them achieve their career goals.
