How do I report my time?
- If you are on a campus assignment you will utilize the Campus Time & Attendance system to clock in/out each day. Your recruiter will let you know if you fall into this category. If so, you can find more information on UAB Financial Affairs' Campus Time & Attendance Training webpage.
- If you are on a hospital assignment you will utilize Hospital Kronos to clock in/out each day with your One card badge. Click here for instructions. Your recruiter will let you know if you fall into this category. Your assignment supervisor will show you where the onsite Kronos machine is located within their department.

What do I do if I need to make an adjustment/correction on my timecard?
- Send an email immediately to TempServicesPay@uab.edu. Be sure to include detail information on the adjustment/correction (I.E. exact date and time).
- Do not forget to copy your assignment supervisor when sending any emails to adjust/correct your time.

How frequently are temps paid?
- Most temp assignments are bi-weekly paid. However, your recruiter will let you know otherwise.

When is payday?

How do I set up my direct deposit and tax withholdings?
- You can find directions by visiting the UAB Financial Affairs website: Oracle Self-Service and Set-Ups.

How do I get information to verify my employment status?
- You can get information on your employment status from Equifax: The Work Number, UAB's service for wage verification and employment verification requests for current and former employees. Visit UAB HR's Employment & Wage Verifications webpage for more information.

How do I access my UAB email?
- You can find information on how to check your UAB email by visiting the UAB Information Technology website: Email TechSolutions.
- If your assignment requires a @UABMC email, your assignment supervisor must arrange for access with UAB Health Systems Information Services.

My assignment supervisor needs me to have training in a UAB system. How do I set up training?
- Your assignment supervisor will need to reach out to appropriate requesting entities to schedule any training needed.

How do I reset my Blazer ID password?
- Visit BlazerID Central to change your Blazer ID password.

How do I set up parking? Is it required? Does it cost?
- Visit uab.edu/transportation to set up your parking needs.
- Setting up parking through UAB Transportation is not required, but highly recommended.
- You can set up and cancel parking at any time during your temp assignment.
- There is a cost associated with setting up parking through UAB Parking and Transportation. Cost is subject to where you are approved to park. Payment is not eligible for payroll deduct.

Do temp employees receive benefits?
- Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits including paid time off, health insurance or retirement.

Can I apply for permanent positions at UAB while I am working a temp assignment?
- Yes, you are eligible to apply to permanent positions while working a temp assignment. If you receive a job offer, you are required to give your current temp assignment a two weeks notice. Please send a copy of your notice to your recruiter in UAB Temporary Services.

Can I get a badge that gives me building access?
- If your supervisor determines it's necessary, you can request a badge that gives you access to your building. Your assignment supervisor can send you to the nearest ONE Card office with a completed ONE Card Request Form. Be prepared to turn in your original temp ID badge when you get your new temp ONE Card badge.
