The myUAB portal is designed to be the digital hub for your day at UAB, with links to apps, forms and personnel information.
A new version of the myUAB page just launched, with the “myHome” tab customizable to display your most-used tools and visited sites based on your role and responsibilities. You can also check out UAB news and events and technology resources.
Customize myUAB
- Make it your homepage. Start each day at myUAB.
- Manage apps by adding or removing the ones you need most.
- Select your own Quicklinks from a list of common UAB web pages and services
- Add your own URLs as bookmarks.
- Use the search bar to find information in your email, calendar, campus map and directory.
On the “myWork” tab, view your employee information, get quick links to payslip or W2, or link to your subscriptions page to ensure you have access to the news you need.
And one of myUAB’s most powerful functions is its robust search bar, which returns results from your email and calendar as well as the UAB directory, campus map and web sites.
myUAB launched in early 2020, but UAB is investing in upgrades to make it even more functional. A student version soft-launched this week [link to student main story], and some features from the student version will be implemented in the employee version in coming months.
Eventually, myUAB will replace the Administrative Systems page where common apps are linked.
