UAB IT is upgrading campus VPN services to new hardware. On Saturday, Aug. 17, there will be a brief 5- to 10-minute outage due to internal route and DNS changes that must occur during the maintenance window from 1 to 3 p.m. 

The only change you should see after the change will be an upgrade to the AnyConnect client, which should happen automatically upon connecting.
