After winning gold at the 2014 ADDYs for TEDx:Birmingham: Rediscover the Magic, we were humbled. It was our first year submitting to the ADDYs and we didn’t know what to expect. At UAB Digital Media, everything is student-produced, from social media to cinematography. We are an incubator for college students to get good work under their belt. That way, we’re building a solid portfolio for a future career.
That’s why it’s so exciting to take home awards at the 2015 ADDYs. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be acknowledged for our work. We’re students after all. We’re still learning. And the future looks pretty good, we think.
