Favorite part of the program/UAB or something you love about it: The family culture while pursuing excellence in all we do. No place will prepare you better professionally and personally to be an elite anesthesiologist like UAB will. 
Favorite rotation and why: Any of the ASD rotations because you're in the OR and the day usually flies by.  
My neighborhood and why I like it: Homewood- it's close to UAB and there's lots of great restaurants close by. 
Best places for soaking up the local culture: Oak Mountain State Park, RTJ golf course, the many great restaurants in downtown and the surrounding suburbs.  
Favorite spots for a date night: North Italia 
Favorite places to take guests: Ahbi Sushi  
Best park, trail, or golf course/Where I take in the scenic views: Oak Mountain State Park - it has trails and gold 
Why I like Birmingham: It's got great outdoor activities, awesome food, and it's close to my hometown in Auburn. I also have a lot of family that lives here.
