The Department of Medicine is delighted to announce four recipients of the Walter B. Frommeyer Jr. Fellowship in Investigative Medicine for 2022. This annual research award is designed to foster the development of outstanding physician-scientists by supporting an intensive, mentored research experience.

Awards were funded by a generous grant from the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, the Department of Medicine, and the respective Divisions. Congratulations to this year’s exceptional awardees!
