Dr. Well-Be and his partners from Employee Wellness, Anna Threadcraft, and Riley Thornton supported Equal Access Birmingham in the Heart + Sole 5K race on August 24, 2019. Proceeds from the race went to EAB which is a student-run free clinic that medically supports and educates underserved people in the Birmingham area. EAB exposes medical students to clinical and socioeconomic factors that contribute to health disparities, training future doctors to provide quality care for all individuals while interacting with and learning from their community.
