Saag, Danila Secure Grant to Study Bone Fracture Prevention
Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology Professors Drs. Ken Saag and Maria Danila secured a grant from Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to investigate the effectiveness of post-fracture bone care. Experts aim to prevent subsequent fractures among patients with osteoporosis.
Stripling, Waugaman Named DOM Wellness Council Co-Chairs
Josh Stripling, M.D., (Assistant Professor, ID) and Kaitlyn Waugaman, MPH, (Program Manager II, Preventive Medicine) were selected as the inaugural co-chairs of the DOM Wellness Council. They will work to address high priority areas and improve the work environment in the department.
