Snyder joined UAB over 17 years ago and has played key roles as a physician, teacher, and leader in the division and department.

She is Physician Director for Ambulatory Care in the Department of Medicine, Medical Director for the Internal Medicine IV Clinic and Assistant Program Director in the Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency Program. Her demonstrated ability to forge collaborative partnerships at all levels across the institution and her ability to bring multiple viewpoints to the table to act on important initiatives uniquely qualify her for this important role. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Snyder as interim director!

Welcome Dr. Krystle Pew to the Division of PACCM

We are thrilled to welcome Assistant Professor Krystle Pew, M.D., to the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care. Pew is an interventional pulmonologist who completed medical training at Howard University, LSU and Johns Hopkins. Her research aims to identify disparities in lung cancer screening and diagnosis.
