PREVENT II is a CDC sponsored COVID-19 surveillance project which enrolls health-providers if they test positive or negative for the disease. These data are utilized in ongoing surveillance of vaccine effectiveness against newer COVID-19 strains and to inform the need for vaccination recommendations and health care personnel safety.
