The Montgomery Regional Medical Campus excels at our mission of improving primary care and community health in a region marked by health disparities and in training the next generation of physicians to care for Alabama’s citizens.
Our accredited campus is home to programs for medical students and physicians training in internal medicine, family medicine and hospital medicine. With 11 faculty members, 40 staff members and 82 students and residents, the MRMC provides crucial clinical care and medical education within the region.
A collaborative partnership between UAB, the city of Montgomery and Baptist Health, we aim to help stem a shortage of physicians in underserved rural areas across the state and improve access to health care in central Alabama.
In addition to faculty in the primary care departments of family medicine and internal medicine, we are supported by physicians in infectious diseases, urology, rheumatology, endocrinology, cardiothoracic surgery, gastroenterology, breast health and other sub-specialties. Physicians from across the River Region partner with us to serve as clinical faculty.
