The goal of the Virology in Progress (VIP) Seminar Series is to strengthen virology at UAB through discussion of unpublished ongoing projects and preliminary data for grant applications. The format will be two 20-25 min talks from faculty, students, or staff, leaving 5-10 min for questions. The VIP series also aims to provide ample opportunities for trainees to present and discuss the results of their hard work with a large group of talented researchers, fostering a collaborative and dynamic research environment.
