Nicole Bentley, M.D., Assistant Professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery, presented at the 2023 Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023.
 
Bentley delivered her presentation, “Single-pulse electrical stimulation to localize epileptogenic networks,” during the “Epilepsy Surgery: Advanced Techniques for Network Identification, Modulation, and Resection” symposium. 
 
This CNS course was created to enable epilepsy surgeons to expand their knowledge in utilizing neuroimaging for epilepsy, monitoring at the network level, performing minimally invasive ablation, and implementing cutting-edge neuromodulation techniques.
 
Bentley also served as a course director for the “TNT: Transforming Neurosurgery through Technology: The Innovation Symposium,” where neurosurgery providers shared details of the groundbreaking techniques they apply within their practice.
