To recognize the UAB Department of Neurosurgery faculty, staff, and trainees for their hard work in 2021, the Chair’s Office has distributed jackets as a thanks for their contributions.
Each year, the department distributes small holiday gifts in thanks of the tremendous efforts of all of its members. This holiday season, the administrative staff team was gifted high-quality, zip-up jackets that will let the administrative team represent UAB Neurosurgery. Faculty and residents also received jackets in a different style, with their names on them.
Administrative Associate in the Chair’s Office, Patricia Daniel, was responsible for the design, order taking, and distribution of the jackets. She says it was worth the effort to see other employees across the department enjoying the jackets.
“These jackets are really a thanks to our incredible administrative team, physicians, researchers, and trainees, on behalf of department leadership, and I was glad to play a small role in ordering and distributing them. They are perfect for wearing around the office and also for representing the department around and outside of UAB.”
Executive Administrator Donna Bailer, J.D., notes that she is grateful for the wonderful support each administrative associate, human resources specialist, program manager, and executive assistant provides the department.
“UAB Neurosurgery really is a team, and we could not do it without every person working together to make our operations happen,” said Bailer. “I am glad that we could recognize our employees in this way and remind them of what they mean to the department.”
