The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to announce that Amanda Hall will join the team as a healthcare management intern beginning Jan. 15, 2025.

Born and raised in the Birmingham area, Hall is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at UAB and recently concluded a collegiate soccer career as a member of the UAB women’s soccer team.

Hall currently works for Birmingham Legion FC, a locally owned and operated professional soccer team. Previously, she served as an intern on the community engagement team for The World Games 2022, where she led a diverse network of volunteers during the international competition.

“I’m excited to build on these experiences and further develop my skills in the healthcare field through this internship,” said Hall.
