Shamza Manzoor joins the UAB Department of Neurosurgery as a researcher III.

Manzoor relocated to the United States to obtain her Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Biomedical Science after completing her Bachelor of Science in Bioscience from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology. 

Before joining the department, Manzoor volunteered as a bioinformatician in the UAB Dutta Lab, where she worked on RNA-Sequencing. 

Manzoor attributes some of her accomplishments to her father, Muhammad Manzoor, for believing in her dreams and life goals and encouraging her to develop a strong career.
