The Department of Neurosurgery’s Kristen Riley, M.D., was recently named secretary of the Southern Neurosurgical Society. Riley has been a member of SNS since 2011 and will serve as secretary until 2021. She is only the second woman to have ever served on the executive council of SNS.
The Society was formed with the purpose of bringing neurosurgeons together to discuss common clinical and technical problems.
