Nine faculty members recently graduated from UAB Medicine’s LEading Advancing Developing (LEAD) spring 2025 program. The program, presented by the UAB Medicine Leadership Development Office, recognized its graduates at a ceremony on March 13, 2025.
The purpose of LEAD is to build ongoing faculty leadership capability, retain key faculty, and ensure sustainable faculty success. LEAD is offered in the fall and spring and is geared toward mid-level faculty within UAB Medicine, including associate professors.
"Each cohort of LEAD provides an opportunity for discussion and networking around relevant leadership topics and similar experiences with other associate professors," said Kellie Carter, Ph.D., Chief Leadership Development Specialist.
