The goals of the O'Brien Research Cores is to provide resources for investigators pursuing basic and clinical research in the field of kidney disease. Core Centers provide shared resources to enhance the efficiency of research and foster collaborations within and among institutions.
The UAB-USCD O'Brien Center is made of up two Biomedical Resource Cores, a Resource Development Core and an Administrative Core. The Clinical Studies for AKI Core houses the Biostatistical Resource.
