Do-Yeon Cho, M.D., recently gave talks at multiple national and international meetings in Bangkok, Seoul, and beyond.
Cho was invited as faculty at the 1st Vanderbilt Research Symposium for Clinician-Scientists, held July 25-27, in Nashville. His talks were titled “How to Write Effective Grant Proposals” and “Research Integrity in Otolaryngology," and he also attended a panel discussion. Department Chair Justin Turner, M.D., Ph.D., also attended.
In August, Cho was invited as plenary speaker at the Thai Rhinology Society Annual Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, where he gave a presentation titled “Revolutionizing Sinusitis Treatment - Purulence Under Siege.”
In addition, Cho was invited to speak at the 2024 Samsung Medical Center Rhinology Annual Conference on Sept. 1 in Seoul, South Korea about "Management of Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Purulence."
As the chair of the International Committee at ARS (American Rhinology Society), he organized and moderated an international panel at the 2024 ARS Annual Meeting held in Miami on Sept. 28 titled, “International Panel: Case-Based Discussion of Non-Type 2 CRS”.
Then, on Sept. 30, he presented one Expert Series, “How to write effective grant proposals,” at the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting in Miami with Department Chair Justin Turner, M.D., Ph.D., and led a panel, "Sphenoid Sinus Surgery – From Basic to Advanced, Case Based Discussion."
