The UAB Department of Otolaryngology is the first in Alabama to use the ORBEYE, a 4K 3D exoscope, for microvascular surgery.

It optimizes the workflow for multiple surgeons by allowing faculty and residents to work side by side. The large 4K 3D screen provides invaluable training and education. Residents can see the same high-quality images of the surgical field that the surgeon can see. The images are also in real-time because there is no delay between the surgeon’s movement and 3D images on the screen.
