The UAB Multidisciplinary Research Stewardship encourages medical student research efforts across all fields of medicine at UAB. This group is run by experienced upper-level students who can help get you involved in the research process. Information on each step of the research process is available within, and our student leaders are accessible to any needs or questions. The UAB Multidisciplinary Research Stewardship aims to advance medical student research initiatives. Through the creation of a transparent network between students and researchers, we foster positive investigator-student relationships. We promote the exchange of ideas, enhance collaboration, improve access to research opportunities, and facilitate networking. Our ultimate goal is to provide budding physicians with the necessary resources and guidance in order to excel academically. Specialty-specific advice obtained from current program directors and research faculty. Interviews for the 2022-2023 school year are still being conducted. Please see link for completed interviews. Topics include: Description: Monthly brief presentations on research topics provided by MRS members. All presentations are followed by 20-30 minute Q/A sessions.
