The UAB Department of Radiology Research Pilot Award (RRIPA) was created to support a pilot research study involving imaging.

A short project application with an appended fully executed mentor/trainee agreement is required. Application dates are yearly. Funding is available to support one/two qualifying project yearly. Applications are reviewed for scientific quality, significance, relevance and potential to lead to additional major funding by a Radiology Department review committee.
