| Brian D. Wright completed his undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. He went on to complete a postdoctoral appointment at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine and ultimately joined the UAB Radiology Department in 2015 as a Research Associate. His expertise focuses on the development and translation into the clinic of radiometal based PET radiopharmaceuticals, which he plans on utilizing here at UAB’s new Cyclotron facility. He has over 20 publications and three patents in the areas of inorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and molecular imaging and has been involved in several clinical trials. |
