Peer Recovery Support Services 

Peer Recovery Support Specialists offer mentoring, education and support in group settings as well as individualized one-on-one coaching sessions. Peer-to-peer services offer participants the support, motivation and encouragement they need as they navigate through the system and recovery process. Peer Support Specialists possess life experiences similar to program participants such as prior justice-system involvement and/or recovery from mental illness and substance use. All Peer Recovery Support Specialists are certified through the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health.
