The Dale J. Benos Medical Student Research Day celebrates the research accomplishments of medical students and provides them with the opportunity to present their projects to fellow students and faculty. The day consists of oral and poster presentations by students enrolled in the M.D., M.D/M.P.H, M.D./M.S, M.D/MBA, and M.D./Ph.D. programs.
As a prize for the three oral presentation winners, the School of Medicine will help fund travel expenses to the conference of their choice. First-place winner in the Intermediate Term Oral category Kathryn Hudak, said she will use her prize to attend the 13th Annual Academic Surgical Congress in Jacksonville, Florida, Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2018.
