General surgery resident Raoud Marayati, M.D., was recently named the recipient of the Spring 2019 Office of Postdoctoral Education Travel Award.
This $500 award will help cover some of Marayati’s travel expenses to attend the 14th Annual Academic Surgical Congress, Feb. 5-7, in Houston, Texas, where she will present her research project, “PIM 3 Kinase Promotes Tumor Metastasis in Hepatoblastoma Cells,” at the Basic Science: Pediatrics Oral Session on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
