The Division of Pediatric Surgery’s Colin Martin, M.D., was recently appointed to the Society of University Surgeons Membership Committee.

While in this position, Martin will be responsible for reviewing online applications of potential members. He will serve in this role for the next two years, concluding his term at the 2021 Academic Surgical Congress. 

The SUS was first established in 1938 with the purpose of assisting and advancing academic surgeons and is seen by many to be the world’s foremost organization in developing surgical sciences.
