The Division of Transplantation's Jayme Locke, M.D., MPH, was recently appointed to the Committee on Admissions for the Society of Clinical Surgery.

Locke serves as the vice chair of health services research and an associate professor in the UAB Department of Surgery, director of the UAB Comprehensive Transplant Institute and director of the UAB Incompatible Kidney Transplant Program. She will begin her five-year term on the admissions committee in August 2020.

The SCS Committee on Admissions consists of five members. In order of seniority, each member ascends to the position of chair of the committee in his or her final year of service.
