This year, the SSO Breast Oncology Fellowship at UAB welcomes its newest fellow, Hannah Woriax, MD., who will join the program this summer.
Woriax received her medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Following medical school, Woriax left Greenville, NC for Virginia, where she will complete her residency training at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic in June and join the department on August 1.

Goodbye:
Outgoing breast oncology fellow Anna Knight, M.D., has accepted a role at Birmingham Breast Care with St. Vincent’s Health System. Her last day with the department is July 31, 2020.
Before joining the UAB Breast Oncology Fellowship, Knight received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport. Following medical school, Knight left Louisiana for Detroit, Michigan, where she completed her general surgery residency training at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center.
