Clinical Research Coordinator I Alexis Carter, MPH, was awarded the Living Donor Community of Practice (LDCOP) Travel Award. Carter is a member of the TEAM Lab.
The award funds her participation in the American Transplant Congress (ATC) 2021 Virtual Connect.
Each year, the ATC attracts a multi-disciplinary audience of over 5,000 physicians, surgeons, scientists, nurses, organ procurement personnel, pharmacists, and other transplant professionals. ATC is known across the globe as the leading educational event in the field of basic and clinical transplantation.
“I’m honored to have been selected as a recipient of this travel award for our research on living kidney donation,” said Carter. “I look forward to learning and growing during the conference and hope to bring what I learn back to the TEAM Lab.”
Carter was recognized by the LDCOP Executive Committee at their LDCOP Annual Meeting on Monday, Jun. 7.
