Ready to kick your virtual presentations up a notch?

The Department of Surgery Communications team has developed a media kit for all members of the department to improve video and audio when recording presentations, virtually presenting at a conference, or interviewing with media.

The kit is comprised of three pieces of equipment: a webcam, a microphone, and a ring light. All items are designed to be plugged into a computer via the USB port.

The webcam and microphone heighten the quality of presentations and recordings by a large margin, and ring light brightens images for a more professional appearance. Feel free to use the media kit as often as needed.

Department faculty, staff, and trainees can reserve any and all pieces of equipment via this check out form, which is required for using any equipment in the media kit. Once you receive a confirmation from the communications team, you may pick up your equipment from Boshell Diabetes Building room D515 in the storage closet.

The communications team asks that the equipment is returned on the reserved check-in date so that others may enjoy improved audio/video quality for their important presentations and recordings as well. The equipment is intended for professional use only and may not be used for personal projects.
