The General Surgery Residency Program honored chief residents, as well as supporting faculty and residents across the program, at Surgery Grand Rounds on Tuesday.
This year has been a particularly unpredictable training year, and department trainees came through the other side with dedication and grit. General Surgery Residency Program Director, Britney Corey, M.D., MACM, FACS, is grateful to the residents for their perseverance.
“These outstanding chief residents have given so much of themselves during their five years with the department,” said Corey. “Graduating a general surgery residency program is an incredible accomplishment, and each resident should be so proud of their hard work.”
